We are delighted to announce that, on Monday 12 February 2018, our veterinary practice will be opening its doors to its very first clients.
The veterinary practice will be run by established, not-for-profit, veterinary group, Animal Trust. Animal Trust, who already have five practices in the North West, are a social enterprise whose ethos supports the belief that veterinary care should ‘be about making animals better and not about making profits’. To this end they provide free consultations and affordable veterinary treatment making access to veterinary care accessible to all.
Owen Monie, Director General at Animal Trust said “Campus Vets and Pets is a wonderful facility and Animal Trust is delighted to be adding to the offering at this location with the new veterinary service. Our existing five veterinary clinics provide accessible care to tens of thousands of patients every year, for procedures ranging from routine vaccinations, through to complex orthopaedics and CT scanning and we’re thrilled to be enhancing the veterinary provision for pets in the Leeds area by offering a not-for-profit service that is open to everyone”.
The opening of the veterinary practice marks the next stage in our launch and joins our established grooming parlour and The College of Animal Welfare’s education and training facility at the centre.
